Sansone Air Conditioning is excited to announce that the next generation Carrier Infinity units went into production in the first week of May 2014. These units were available for purchase as of June 2014. These Carrier Infinity series units feature some amazing technology. The Infinity® 18VS Heat Pump 25VNA8 will be the heat pump version & the Infinity® 19VS Central Air Conditioner 24VNA9 will be the straight cool version. Both versions feature a variable speed compressor with up to 5 stages of cooling capacity, from 25-100%. Also, Carrier has figured out how to provide these high energy efficiency units in a very small package, as small as 24″ x 24″. This is the first time a homeowner with a tight outdoor or roof space can get a system with this kind of efficiency! Here are just a few of the many features & benefits of the Carrier Infinity series units:
Infinity 18VS heat pump will reach up to 18 SEER and 11 HSPF
Infinity 19VS straight cool will reach up to 19 seer
Both feature a variable-speed compressor which can operate at 5 different capacity stages ranging from 25 – 100%
These units also feature a lot of flexibility so they can work with multiple indoor units.
This is the smallest ducted variable speed condensing unit available
Sound levels will be as low as 55 dBa
